Scars—whether from surgery, injury, or inflammation—can disrupt the normal flow of the lymphatic system. Dense or fibrous scar tissue may compress or block lymph vessels, reducing the body’s ability to drain excess fluid and remove waste. This can lead to swelling, reduced immune function, and tissue congestion in the affected area.
The good news is that no scar is too old to work on. Even long-standing scar tissue can respond to gentle, targeted therapies that help restore lymphatic flow, improve mobility, and support overall healing.
In my practice, I’ve seen great success in reducing pain and improving tissue function in clients with C-section scars and joint replacement scars, helping them feel more comfortable and regain ease in movement.
In addition to gentle cupping and soft tissue mobilization I use the Dolphin Neurostim device. To learn more about this device please visit –https://www.dolphinmps.com/mps-scar-release-therap
